BITUMOL H-6
Cat. no.: 826
Bitumol H-6 is a bitumen anionic, medium breakable and high flotage emulsion, designed for preparing cold mixtures with a wide range of aggregates, with silicate features (sio2) of 10 % to 100 %, and/ or with Ca0 maximum contents of 90 %.
Uses: |
|||
Bitumol H-6 used as piling asphalt mixtures binder for patching road patches, patching asphalt works (filling next to curbstones, sewage and telephone pits, drainage canals, etc…), and for quick repair of damage on asphalt surfaces (garden paths, sports courts, sidewalks and lanes). The cold piling asphalt mixtures may be stored, as well as continuous 6 months piling at least without the appearance of bitumen peeling off and with transferability powers throughout the entire piling period. |
|||
Technical specifications: |
|||
Bitumol H-6 is compatible with the American ASTM-D-977 Standard, and Israeli Standard No. 161 for bitumen emulsions at HFMS-1 level. |

Instructions for use: |
Mix the emulsion with the already gradated aggregate, in a compatible mixing container. |
Consumption: |
For aggregate with 1 % absorption rate, the required residual bitumen contents are about 4.5%; For aggregate with higher absorption rate, the required bitumen quantity is increased by the percentage of existing absorption less 1% (for example : for aggregate with 2% absorption rate, the required residual bitumen content is about 5.5%). |
Packaging: |
180 kg drum 1 ton container Tanker |
Notes: |
The emulsion quantity should be compatible with the aggregate gradation and type. Do not produce mixtures with emulsion at temperatures of below 15 ºC. |
